Does a "special day" have to be a big event like a wedding?
Not at all. A quiet but personally meaningful day often makes a better answer, because you can describe genuine feelings and specific moments. This model uses a product launch — no party, but deeply significant — which gives it a strong, original "why".
What tense should I use for a past day?
Mostly past simple for the events, with past perfect or past perfect continuous for the build-up ("we'd been working towards it") and present simple when you reflect now ("whenever I have a difficult day, I think back to it"). Mixing them accurately lifts the grammar score.
How do I fill two minutes on a single day?
